Job summary

Kids Planet Heswall is seeking a Room Leader to join our team on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. You will lead a nursery room, ensuring high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS, while supporting ongoing professional development and strong child-family relationships.

The role emphasizes leadership, safeguarding, and a passion for early years, with access to accredited KP Academy training and enhanced family leave as part of our supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
• Leadership experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a room within the nursery, ensuring high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.
• Support and guide the team, fostering a positive, collaborative environment and promoting professional development.
• Build strong relationships with children and families, ensuring each child's needs are met and learning is supported.
