Job summary

Bright Horizons Banstead Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking a Room Leader to guide a dedicated team in delivering high-quality care and education for children. You will mentor staff, support effective learning environments, and foster strong partnerships with parents.

The role requires an Early Years Level 3+ qualification, EYFS knowledge, safeguarding awareness, and a passion for inclusive learning. The nursery offers a supportive culture and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Previous experience in an Early Years setting – ideally as Room Leader or similar.
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Knowledge of Safeguarding and Child Protection requirements in childcare.
• Ability to develop trust and strong partnerships with colleagues and parents/ carers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults.
