Delta Hotels by Marriott Worsley Park Country Club is seeking a Housekeeping Associate for a 30-hour per week role based at Worsley Park Marriott Hotel & Country Club, Greater Manchester. You will help prepare rooms for guest arrivals, ensuring cleanliness and comfort to create memorable stays.

Full training is provided. You will enter guest rooms, maintain privacy and respond to requests, while performing cleaning of rooms and public areas, and handling supplies and equipment as required.

• Maintain guest privacy and security following company standards.
• Respond to guest or other departmental requests promptly.
• Check that all room appliances are present and in working order; straighten desks, furniture and furnishings.
• Replace guest amenities and supplies with clean items; manage linens, bins and beverages stations.
• Inspect walls and furnishings for marks or damage and report or repair as needed; vacuum carpets and perform floor care.
• Replenish and transport carts with supplies at end of shift.
• Clean public areas of the hotel as required.
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

This position is 30 Hours and is based at Worsley Park Marriott Hotel & Country Club, Greater Manchester.

Our housekeeping team plays a vital role in preparing rooms for guest arrivals and creating a lasting memory of comfort and cleanliness. Full training is provided to ensure that rooms are prepared to the appropriate standard. This includes the making of beds, folding of linens and cleaning of bathrooms.

Specific duties of Housekeeping Associate include;

• Entering guest rooms by following the appropriate procedure for gaining access and ensuring vacancy before entering
• Maintaining the highest level of guest privacy and security as per the company standard
• Responding promptly to any other requests from guests or other departments.
• Carrying out checks that all appliances are present in the room and in working order, with desk items, furniture and appliances straightened, dusted and polished.
• Guest amenities and supplies in rooms should be replaced with clean items. These include dirty linens, room service items, bins and beverage stations.
• Walls and furnishings should be inspected for marks or damage which should then be removed or reported as necessary. Carpets vacuumed and any other floor care duties performed (e.g., in guest rooms and hallway).
• At the end of each shift, carts should be replenished with supplies and transported to the assigned area.
• Cleaning within public areas of the hotel as required
• The ability to work flexibly, including evening, weekend and public holiday working.
