Job summary

At Sloane, a fifth‑star luxury boutique hotel located in Chelsea, seeks a dedicated Room Attendant to uphold pristine guest rooms and public areas to the highest standards.

You will join a team delivering exceptional service, with a competitive hourly rate up to £17.26 including service charge, ongoing training, complimentary meals on duty, and a range of health, dental, optical, pension, and lifestyle benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel setting.
• Confidence and professionalism when engaging with guests.
• Strong eye for detail and presentation standards.
• Good spoken English.
• Willingness to take direction and work independently.

Responsibilities

• To clean and makeup all allocated rooms to the standard required.
• Attend briefings and trainings sessions as required.
• Be fully aware of health and safety hazards and report concerns immediately.
• Report missing items from rooms (e.g., bathrobes, soap dishes).
• Deal with lost and found guest property promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure maintenance issues are reported promptly and correctly.
• Carry out other cleaning duties as specified by your supervisor.
• Report to the supervisor any rooms not requiring service or with DND signs.
• Assist with training of new starters as required.
• Ensure designated corridor and pantry areas are cleaned before leaving for the day.
• Maintain cleanliness and supply of all allocated areas to the hotel standard.
