Job summary

NSS Maintenance, part of NSS Group, is seeking a Roofing Operative to join our nationwide team. You will work on reactive and planned maintenance jobs, often at height, across commercial, retail and industrial sites.

Overtime is paid at time and a half, with a fully supported PPE and equipment package. The role offers structured development opportunities, a driver’s licence is required, and flexibility for early starts, late finishes and some weekend work.

Qualifications

• IPAF, PASMA, CSCS or equivalent site safety cards required.
• Driving licence is essential with willingness to travel/overnight stays.
• Experience with roofing maintenance and cladding is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in teams on reactive and planned maintenance jobs.
• Work at height safely on a daily basis.
• Carry out cladding, roofing maintenance, guttering repairs/replacements.
• Be flexible with hours, occasional weekends and on-call rota.
• Learn new skills and maintain good communication with customers.
• Prepare on-site reports and carry out dynamic risk assessments.
