Job summary

Build Recruitment represents a client, a leading Social Housing contractor, in recruiting an experienced Roofer for a contract in Birmingham. The role covers repairs and maintenance, quality checks and adherence to health and safety rules, including working at height.

Core hours are Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm with overtime at enhanced rates; van and fuel card are provided. The successful candidate will have essential roofer experience and a full UK driving license, with NVQ/City and Guilds_DESIRABLE.

Qualifications

• Roofer experience ESSENTIAL
• Full UK Driving License ESSENTIAL
• NVQ or City and Guilds DESIRABLE

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintenance
• Conduct regular quality checks
• Repairing or maintenance work
• Following health and safety rules, particularly regarding working at height
• Checking for weather damage
• Restocking materials
