Job summary

Ian Williams is recruiting a skilled Roofer for our Plymouth team to join Capital Works. You’ll carry out pitched and flat roofing repairs in customers’ homes across Plymouth and the wider Devon area, supporting retrofit, FRA and social housing projects.

Experience with solar panels is a plus; we’ll provide solar PV training and certification. We offer a competitive basic salary of £35,530 for a 39-hour week, with on-target earnings up to £39,586 through bonus and overtime, a company van and

Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 in Roofing Occupations or equivalent roofing apprenticeship
CSCS card required; Blue Skilled Worker preferred
Working at Height, asbestos awareness and manual handling training; PASMA and IPAF certification advantageous
Driving licence (UK) with own company van provided

Responsibilities

Complete roofing repairs and renewals to pitched and flat roofs, including leaks, felt, batten, guttering, leadwork and torch-on felt repairs
Carry out brickwork repairs and refurbishment where required (advantage)
Build positive working relationships and communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, tenants and managers
Work safely and comply with health and safety requirements
