Job summary

Avenue Scotland is seeking 2 experienced Roofing Tilers to join the team. Roles will be based across Edinburgh, Fife and Dundee, with a full driving license essential and transport provided.

Ideal candidates will be SVQ Level 2 or 3 in roofing (not essential) and demonstrated ability to work independently, completing roof repairs and re-roofs, often alongside an apprentice or labourer. Rates are £16.50–£18.50 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as Roofing tiler/Slater is preferred.
• SVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in roofing is advantageous but not essential.
• Full driving licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Ability to manage roof projects independently to completion.
• Work alongside an apprentice or labourer on repairs and re-roofs.

Job description

Well established roofing company require 2 experienced Roofing Tilers to join the team.

Jobs will be based across Edinburgh, Fife and Dundee area and a full driving license is essential. Transport will be provided.

You will ideally be experienced, SVQ Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Roof Tiler/Slater but not essential.

You will be a responsible self-starter who can manage jobs independently and see them through to completion, working alongside an apprentice or labourer who'll assist you on roof repairs and re-roofs. This role will be on a temporary basis initially through Avenue Recruitment but will go permanent all going well.

Rates 16.50- 18.50 per hour ( DOE and qualifications)
