Job summary

The Ministry of Justice in Wakefield is seeking an HEO to provide faith/belief and pastoral care to prisoners and staff within a multifaith chaplaincy team, and to meet the pastoral needs of people of other faiths and none.

You will contribute to delivering PSI 05/2016 Faith and Pastoral Care for Prisoners and support the Governor and Chaplain General in assuring policy delivery and the broader chaplaincy work.

Qualifications

• Faith and pastoral care experience in a prison or similar setting.
• Ability to work in a multifaith team and understand other beliefs.
