Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 or Apprenticeship in relevant discipline.
• Previous experience as a Technician in the rail industry.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and electronic diagnostic and repair skills.
• Working knowledge of rolling stock systems and components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Flexible and able to work night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of rolling stock and identify faults or issues.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic faults.
