Job summary

Ford & Stanley are pleased to be working with our client within the rolling stock industry at their Bristol facility, supporting the recruitment of an Electrical Wirer. In this role you will fault find, install and modify low‑voltage electrical systems, wiring from engineering drawings and VMIs, and work safely to required quality standards.

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime available. This is a long-term contract role supporting heavy maintenance and refurbishment of rail

Qualifications

• Proven electrical fault-finding experience.
• Experience wiring, glanding, crimping and cable routing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and VMIs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out wiring, installation and modification on low-voltage systems.
• Undertake electrical fault finding and diagnostics.
• Install, terminate and route cables and verify circuits.
