A leading construction firm is seeking an experienced Roller Operator for a long-term infrastructure project on the Isle of Skye. This role involves operating heavy vibratory rollers to compact materials for new access roads and concrete pads. Candidates must hold a valid CPCS or NPORS Roller ticket and a CSCS Card. The position offers a competitive rate of £23.63 per hour with a structured 11-on, 3-off working rotation starting in February. Accommodation is paid for the duration of the contract.
The Project: Multi-million Overhead Line Installation (Tier 1 Contractor / Specialist Subcontractor)
Location: Isle of Skye, Scotland (Accommodation Paid)
Rate: £23.63 per hour (CIS)
Rota: 11 days on, 3 days off
Start Date: February 2026
Duration: Long-Term Ongoing Contract (Expected 2-3 Years)
We are urgently recruiting an experienced and diligent Roller Operator to join the groundworks teams on a critical, long-term energy infrastructure project on the Isle of Skye. Your primary responsibility will be compacting fill material, sub-bases, and final surfaces for new site access roads and the concrete pad areas for the transmission tower bases.
This position requires a safety-conscious operator proficient in heavy compaction, working closely with dumper and finishing crews.
