Job description

Start Date: February 2026

We are looking for a highly capable Housekeeper/Cook to work for a private family in Pimlico, London.

The contracted hours of work are 12.00pm to 7.00pm Monday to Thursday plus babysitting.

The Housekeeper/Cook will be responsible for ensuring the property runs smoothly and is well maintained and organised.

The family are looking for a candidate who organised and confident working independently to maintain a household.

A candidate who is child friendly is essential, you will be working for two principals who have teenage children. The youngest child is 12 years old and one night of babysitting fortnightly will be required, ordinarily on a Thursday evening. Willingness to engage with the children when they get home from school, listening to them about their day and preparing them a snack is essential there may be the occasional appointment to take one of the children too as well.

The Housekeeper/Cook will not be required to travel or to work on weekends. A candidate who holds a driving license and is confident driving in London would be preferred.

Duties and responsibilities
