Job description

A full-time position has arisen for a professional Live-out Dog Nanny/Pet Carer for a Household in London’s Kensington

The requirement is for someone with extensive professional knowledge in canine care and training, who will join the household family team working in a large family home

The family currently have 5 dogs, a cat, rabbit and a tortoise that you will oversee. Candidates should also be comfortable working around children

Working 5 days per week, the working schedule covers 7 days per week (including weekends) and usually between 7.30am – 6pm. This is a role where flexibility is required

The individual should take immense pride in their position, be willing to go the extra mile when needed and have an eye for detail. There may be an occasional requirement to travel.

Salary offered for this role is up to £45,000 (depending on experience), additionally travel bonuses and other (expressly discretionary) bonuses may also be given. Candidates with extensive experience within UHNW Private Households will be fast‑tracked

• Care for the pets each day and ensure they have a comfortable, well‑maintained environment.
• Handle all feeding, medication and ordering of food and supplies.
• Take the dogs on multiple walks suited to their individual needs.
• Keep all pet areas, litter trays and enclosures clean throughout the day, indoors and outdoors.
• Manage pet travel needs, including packing, unpacking and travel documents.
• Groom and clean the animals daily and book professional grooming when needed.
• Arrange all vet appointments, vaccinations, medications and travel certificates.
• Continue pets’ existing training routines and support any new training.
