Humanoid in London is hiring a Robotics Learning Engineer to join the Manipulation team. You will teach robots to manipulate their environment, combining applied deep learning with real hardware experience.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in robotics with shipped artifacts, and experience in post-training neural networks, DL infrastructure, and profiling numerics. OpenVLA familiarity and RL for robotics are nice-to-haves. Competitive equity and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years working on robots with shipped artifacts.
• Experience with neural network post-training.

Responsibilities

• Post-train manipulation policies via behaviour cloning and RL; own the full loop from data to deployment.
• Data preprocessing strategies to improve data quality.
• Set up RL training using digital twin with simulation team and iterate on reward and simulation quality for real-world transfer.
• Drive data collection to define good data and ensure diversity and coverage.
• Expand observation and action spaces for new capabilities and expose components to robot operators.
• Collaborate with Teleoperations and Controls to improve motion smoothness and teleoperation experience.
