The ideal candidate holds a degree in robotics and has experience in a similar engineering role. Qualifications

Overview

Alexander James Recruiting are currently working with a leading manufacturer and integrator of Warehouse Automation products looking to bring on a Robotics Engineer to work on robotics projects for clients across the UK. With a competitive base salary and overall package, this is a great opportunity for a qualified robotics engineer with experience working in a comparable role within a closely affiliated industry.

Responsibilities
  • Creating detailed designs to meet customer’s Warehouse Robotics specifications ready translation into engineering solutions using autoCAD software
  • Overseeing the delivery of Warehouse Robotics projects from order through to project completion
  • Carrying out all related calculations and risk assessments to ensure that all designs align with technical and safety requirement standards
  • Overseeing installations and maintenance of Warehouse Robotics equipment
  • Working closely with the sales, projects and technical teams throughout each stage of the project, producing all relevant documentation when required
  • Attending sites nationally as and when required
Requirements

Our client is ideally looking for an individual with experience of working within an engineering role for a supplier of robotics equipment. A background of using autoCAD software would be highly beneficial as well as maintenance/installations experience. It is essential that you hold a degree or HNC in an engineering/robotics field. In terms of location, you must be based within commutable distance on the office in Nottingham as there will be an expectation to work from the office. You must hold a full UK driver’s license as there will be an expectation to travel to customer sites around the country.
