Job summary

A leading engineering company in Wickwar is seeking a Robot Welder to operate robotic welding cells and assist with workshop duties. The ideal candidate should have experience with machines and welding, ability to work under pressure, and strong communication skills. The position offers an alternate shift pattern with opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

  • Experience in machines and welding would be an advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure is essential.
  • Good communication skills required for the role.

Responsibilities

  • Set, load and operate ABB Robotic welding cells.
  • Operate machinery as authorised in accordance with manufacturers' instructions.
  • Attend all meetings as required.
  • Clean workshop areas and assist with other duties as required.
  • Complete all time recording as necessary.
  • Observe all H&S requirements, such as wearing PPE.
  • Work within ISO9001:2015 QA system.

Robot Welder

Wickwar, Permanent, £15.69 per hour. Working with a well‑established engineering company who are now on the lookout for a Robotic Welder to join their ever‑growing team based in Wickwar.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set, load and operate our ABB Robotic welding cells.
  • Operate machinery as authorised in accordance with manufacturers operating instructions.
  • Attend all meetings as required.
  • Clean workshop areas, empty waste containers, assist with other duties as required.
  • Complete all time recording as necessary.
  • Observe all H&S requirements, such as wearing PPE.
  • Work within our ISO9001:2015 QA system.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience in machines and welding would be an advantage.
  • Be able to work under pressure.
  • Have good communication skills.
Shift Pattern

Alternate shift pattern: Week 1 – Mon to Thurs 6am‑2pm, Fri 6am‑1pm; Week 2 – Mon to Thurs 2pm‑10.30pm, Fri 1pm‑6pm. Overtime available at x1.5.
