Robotic Welder

£32,000 salary, GL12, 28 rising to 33 days holiday with service, pension, parking, bonus, alternate shift pattern Week 1- Mon to Thurs 6am-2pm, Fri 6am-1pm, Week 2- Mon to Thurs 2pm-10.30pm, Fri 1pm, 39 hour week, Permanent role.

Opportunity to join a friendly and stable manufacturing company in the South Gloucestershire area. The robotic welder, welding machine operator role reports to the production supervisor.

The robotic welder, welding machine operator role involves

• The robotic welding of metal parts
• Setting and operating an ABB Robotic welding machine
• Loading the machine with raw material
• Working to ISO9001:2015 quality standards system
• Working in a small team in the welding cell area as part of a bigger production team

• Observe H & S requirements and maintain tidy and clean working environment

The robotic welder, welding machine operator role skills and background requirements

• Knowledge of robotic welding machines or welding processes or transferable skills from similar production equipment
• Experience of working in production engineering environments operating machinery
• Any apprenticeship or qualifications in engineering or welding would be beneficial but practical and transferable hands‑on skills of machine operating similar types of machinery would be ideal for this role.

The robotic welder, welding machine operator position is working with an established and friendly production engineering company in South Gloucestershire where you will get product training and be an integral part of the team.
