Job Description

You’ll join our Robotics Engineering Team and be involved in all stages of software and product development, including analysis, system architecture, prototype design, implementation and test development. You’ll be collaborating closely with the hardware and systems teams.

Your expertise and depth in robotic software engineering will be invaluable as you collaborate with your peers to bring our system to life. You’ll have experience of developing and debugging code for robotics and automation systems, but also bring flexibility in your approach, gained from your experience working in cross collaborative teams. Your technical breadth will enable you to quickly grasp new ideas and collaborate effectively across the product development and manufacturing team.

Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, computer science or a related discipline with industry experience.
  • High proficiency in Python, but C++ and C# would be an advantage.
  • Ability to lead software development within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience working on large-scale, safety critical systems, in particular robotics control systems.
  • Familiarity with industrial, networked communication protocols, along with robotic prototyping software such as ROS 1 or 2.
  • Product development and lifecycle experience would be highly advantageous.
  • This role will be a full time on-site position at our campus in Melbourn.
