An automotive component manufacturer in Little Braxted is seeking a Robot Cell Setter/Operator with experience in CNC machining, specifically with Haas and Fanuc controls. The role involves setting and operating both CNC machines and a robot, including working with various metals. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating the robot cell.

• Deburring and manually finishing parts.
• Cutting and preparing materials.

Overview

An automotive component manufacturer based in Witham is looking for someone with experience setting and operating CNC machines who would also like to set and operate a robot on their night shift.

Shift & Rate

Hourly rate is up to £20.35 per hour. Working Sunday: 20:30–07:00. Monday–Thursday: 23:00–07:00.

Robot Cell Setter / Operator

• Setting and operating the robot cell
• Responsible for setting and operating 3‑axis & 5‑axis milling machines
• Work with a variety of metals including aluminium, carbon fibre, and epoxy tool boards
• Work closely with the rest of the machine shop to deliver on time
• Deburring and manually finishing parts
• Responsible for the cutting and preparing of materials

Qualifications

• Experience with Haas and Fanuc controls
• Strong engineering background
• Keen eye for detail
• Flexibility to work across the machine shop

Role Details

This is a temporary-to-permanent role in a company with a full order book until the early 2030s, so it is an exciting time to join.
