Job summary

FMG RS in the UK is seeking a Roaming Vehicle Damage Assessor to cover the South East region, including Littlehampton, Havant, Southampton and Bournemouth.

You will estimate and inspect accident damage across multiple sites, liaise with insurers and customers, and use Audatex with NVQ3 and ATA/IMI qualifications, holding a UK driving licence.

The package includes a basic salary of £45,000–£50,000 per year and a company vehicle or car allowance, plus substantial bonus schemes.

• NVQ Level 3 and ATA/IMI qualification required.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.

45h a week Mon -Fri 8am- 5.30pm

Join the UK’s largest repair group in this fantastic opportunity, as a Roaming Vehicle Damage Assessor in the South East region of the UK and take advantage of exceptional company benefits.

This is a very varied role, which will involve working across multiple sites, to support the region during holidays, peak volume, training, any assistance required on site and being a champion for the South EastRegion. Ideally based in the central area of the region to support Littlehampton, Havant, Southampton and Bournemouth. A company vehicle or car allowance is also included in the package.

As a proven VDA / Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator you will have experience using Audatex, qualified to NVQ level 3 and an ATA / IMI qualification, with a solid bodyshop background. Naturally due to the nature of the job you will hold a full UK Manual Driving Licence.

You will be responsible for estimating/inspecting accident damage vehicles of all makes and marques, assessing the full extent of the damage, costs of repair and timeframes. An important aspect of this job is to identify the correct prescribed repair method and prepare, record and maintain records of electronic and manual estimates. You will then liaise effectively with insurance companies to obtain their authority to repair the vehicle at the costs estimated. You will also effectively liaise with customers engineers and technicians to explain and ensure they understand the repair methodology. An understanding of Thatcham Repair Methods and BSi safety standards is paramount. This means keeping up to date with all repair methodologies, together with an understanding of different insurers and manufacturers literature and bulletins.
