Job summary

RAC is looking for a Roadside Technician to support members across the UK. The position offers a strong base pay of £41,600 with a realistic OTE of £66,000 and requires a Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification and customer-focused service.

You will deliver expert roadside repairs, tackling varied challenges from diagnostics to flat tires. Benefits include a generous holiday allowance, a company van, and 24/7 wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of post‑qualification technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Capable of resolving mechanical issues quickly and confidently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and vehicle diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish your day at home.
