Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a vehicle workshop or as a Mobile Vehicle Technician.
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points or bans.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair vehicle problems.

Mobile Vehicle Technician / Roadside Technician
Location: Bournemouth
Salary: £35,000 and realistic OTE of £60,000, top performers earning significantly more through bonuses and enhanced overtime rates.
Hours: Start and finish on your driveway. Demand‑led shifts averaging 40 hours per week, with optional overtime available

Role Overview – Roadside Technician
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
  • Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques
Requirements – Roadside Technician
  • Level 3‑qualified Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Technician (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ, or equivalent); Level 2 qualification considered if demonstrating experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within a vehicle workshop or as a Mobile Vehicle Technician
  • Full UK driving licence – no more than 9 points or bans on the licence
  • Demonstrate technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
