Job summary

The RAC is seeking a skilled Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You'll respond to calls, diagnose faults, perform repairs, and reassure members during roadside incidents.

This role requires a Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification and at least 2 years of technical experience. The position offers a base salary of £36,400 with a realistic OTE of £61,000, plus benefits like RAC van and fuel card.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years post-qualification technical, electrical and diagnostic experience.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide roadside repair and diagnostic services to members.
• Diagnose and correct mechanical and electrical faults.
• Log and report job details accurately.
