Job summary

Caerphilly County Borough Council is seeking a Road Safety Projects Officer to lead the operational development and delivery of Education, Training and Publicity (ETP) road safety projects across the borough. You will work with internal and external partners to plan and deliver initiatives with a strong safeguarding focus for children.

The role offers a salary of £17,638.73 to £18,523.66 and benefits including the Local Government Pension Scheme, agile working patterns and staff discount

Qualifications

• Awareness of road safety education, training and publicity initiatives.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• A full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and business use insured vehicle.

Job description

We are looking for a motivated Road Safety Projects Officer to lead the operational development and delivery of Education, Training and Publicity (ETP) road safety projects that support the priorities of Welsh Government and Caerphilly County Borough Council. You will work collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external partners to plan and deliver effective road safety initiative, with a strong focus on safeguarding and the safety of children. This is a key role for someone who is organised, partnership-focused and passionate about making a positive impact on road safety across our communities. For the role, we ask that you have:

• A Relevant Level 3 qualification
• Awareness of road safety education, training and publicity initiatives. Good oral and written communication skills.
• A full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business purposes to travel throughout the borough
