Are you an experienced Road Freight Forwarder ready to take the next step in your career? Reed is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established freight forwarding business based in North Manchester - Bolton, specialising in UK, European, and Irish road freight solutions.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and dynamic team where you’ll be responsible for coordinating road freight movements across the UK, EU, and Ireland. You’ll manage the full freight cycle, liaise with clients and hauliers, and ensure all shipments are delivered efficiently and compliantly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate road freight shipments across the UK, EU, and IE markets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, hauliers, and customs agents
  • Prepare and process all necessary documentation including customs clearance
  • Monitor shipments and proactively resolve any delays or issues
  • Ensure compliance with transport regulations and internal procedures
  • Provide accurate quotations and support the commercial team
Requirements
  • Proven experience in road freight forwarding, ideally covering UK, EU, and IE markets
  • Strong knowledge of customs procedures and international transport regulations
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency in freight management systems and Microsoft Office
