Road Freight Coordinator | Manchester | Up to £37,000 per annum

I currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Road Freight Operator with strong knowledge of European transport and customs procedures to join a fast-paced, client-focused logistics company based in Trafford Park, Manchester.

Job details

Job type: Permanent

Shifts: Monday to Friday - 08:00-17:00

Salary: Up to £37,000

Day to day

• Providing accurate and competitive quotes for European road freight movements
• Creating bookings and ensuring all export documentation and customs requirements are met
• Liaising with customers regarding collection and delivery dates, ensuring smooth communication throughout the process
• Monitoring and managing shipments, proactively resolving any issues or delays
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, with a focus on service excellence and repeat business

Requirements

• Proven European road freight experience with a UK based forwarder
• Right to work in the UK (No sponsorship is on offer)
• Experience in Road Import and/or Export
• Customs awareness and understanding of current export procedures
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving approach
• The ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment
• A genuine passion for customer service and relationship management
