Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a Staff Nurse - RMN for Kings Norton Hospital in Birmingham. This state-of-the-art adult mental health unit supports up to 32 residents with complex conditions.

Night and day shifts are available across a Monday–Sunday rota, offering a dynamic, clinically focused environment in a large UK care group. Qualifications

• Must hold a current NMC pin (RMN).
• Legal right to work in the UK.
• Experience in mental health care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the care, welfare and safety of all patients is maintained to the highest standard.
• Create individualised care plans for patients.
• Safely administer and record medication.
• Liaise with external suppliers and health care providers.
• Monitor and develop the performance of support workers.
• Use a person-centred approach to meet each patient’s needs with privacy, dignity and respect.
• Act as Primary Nurse and take responsibility for the nursing residents’ care through assessments and planning.
• Contribute to MDT working, risk assessments and ongoing clinical improvement.
• Provide written nursing reports for statutory and clinical reviews.
