A leading cancer treatment provider in the UK seeks a Pharmacy Assistant to support patient care in outpatient pharmacy settings. The ideal candidate will have community pharmacy experience and a passion for enhancing patient lives, with training provided to ensure effective service to oncology patients. This role involves dispensation of medicines, administrative tasks, and maintaining safety standards. Flexible working patterns are required, including evenings and weekends.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join the RM Medicines as a Pharmacy Assistant who is passionate about improving the lives of patients with cancer.
RM Medicines is a wholly owned subsidiary, created by The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust to provide outpatient pharmacy services, focused on ensuring efficient and safe supply of medicines to patients. Individuals recruited to the RM Medicines team will be supported to provide expert care to oncology patients and will benefit from training and the learning experiences of working closely with an institute providing outstanding, leading-edge treatment to cancer patients. This post would suit a candidate with community pharmacy experience wishing to make a change into the hospital environment, for which appropriate training will be provided. Note: It is not possible for RM Medicines to provide sponsorship for this role. Right to work in the UK is required.
RM Medicines has been set up by the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, as a separate entity to provide outpatient pharmacy services, focused on ensuring efficient and safe supply of medicines to their patients.

It is a centre of excellence with an international reputation for ground-breaking research and pioneering the very latest in cancer treatments and technologies, as well as specialising in cancer diagnosis and education.
Individuals recruited to the RM Medicines team will be supported with a bespoke induction plan including a BOPA Cancer introductory course, to be able to provide expert care to oncology patients in the Outpatient Pharmacy setting.
