Job summary

Countryside Classroom in Scotland is seeking a Project Officer to support a busy project team across river restoration, invasive species control, ecological surveys and community engagement in the Forth Catchment.

You will assist with monitoring, reporting, procurement, and liaison with partners including local authorities and landowners. The role requires good organisation, communications, and the ability to work with volunteers and interns.

Qualifications

• > Understanding of river restoration, catchment management and conservation work.
• > Experience of supporting the coordination and delivery environmental or conservation projects.
• > Understanding of project monitoring, evaluation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• > Support delivery of River Restoration and Engagement projects.
• > Coordinate project activity and reporting.
• > liaise with Local Authorities, NatureScot, SEPA and partners.
• > manage procurement and contracts related to projects.
• > assist with funding reporting and governance.
