Overview

You will be joining the Credit Specialties department as an Underwriter within Risk Services. Credit Specialties is a division within Atradius that offers non-cancellable and comprehensive credit insurance to corporates and banks across a multitude of sectors and regions worldwide. You will evaluate transactions on a case-by-case basis to determine acceptable risk and alignment with departmental risk appetite. In addition to case-by-case work, you will have the opportunity to manage a portfolio of risks for key customers, developing relationships with our commercial unit and clients/brokers while managing expectations on both sides. Given the nature of our business, an interest in geopolitical developments and a reasonable grasp of macroeconomics are beneficial. You will have the opportunity to attend industry talks and broker conferences, and receive financial analysis training to support development in the role. While a financial background is not essential, a basic understanding of financial statement analysis is favourable. The position may involve travel, including overseas, and requires a flexible approach to working hours. Salary: up to GBP32k depending on experience.
