Job summary

Coinbase is seeking an experienced Risk & Monitoring Analyst IV within the GFCO to own QA reviews of TMS investigations supporting the AML/CFT program. You will strengthen case consistency, surface gaps, and partner across Operations, Compliance, Analytics and Learning & Development to implement measurable improvements.

You will review cases, lead calibration, conduct root-cause analyses, and deliver data-driven insights to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, audit, or financial crime investigations in regulated finance.
Working knowledge of BSA/AML laws and ability to apply risk-based judgment.
ACAMS certification or equivalent AML qualification.
Experience producing compliance metrics and dashboards for stakeholders.
Ability to present QA findings to senior leaders and drive improvements.
Responsible use of AI with human oversight to improve workflow.

Responsibilities

Review TMS cases against QA rubrics, including SARs and priority compliance areas.
Lead calibration sessions and analyst support to drive consistency.
Conduct root cause analyses and translate findings into actionable updates.
Collaborate with second line and stakeholders to address findings.
Build and present weekly metrics and trend analyses to senior stakeholders.
Train new joiners and provide structured feedback on QA performance.
