Job Description

About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Risk Project Manager to work for our client within the finance sector. This is initially a 5-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role based in London.

Our client is seeking a highly capable and delivery-focused Risk Project Manager to lead and support project management activities related to evidencing and documenting compliance with Laws, Rules and Regulations (LRR) governing the calculation and disclosure of Own Funds, Eligible Liabilities, and all RWA (Risk-Weighted Asset) risk types.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage projects with specific, defined objectives, timeframes, and deliverables relating to LRR compliance across capital and risk
  • Operate tactically to manage the day‑to‑day delivery of your project, focusing on timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation
  • Ensure project plans are realistic, deliverables are clearly scoped, and stakeholders are aligned throughout the project lifecycle
  • Maintain a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, ensuring transparent communication and consistent expectation management
  • Oversee effective resource management, ensuring teams have the right skills, capacity, and tools to deliver
  • Utilise appropriate project management tools and metrics to monitor progress, escalate issues, and ensure timely delivery
  • Track deliverables through to completion and proactively monitor dependencies, risks, and changes
