A leading health insurance provider in Birmingham is seeking a Risk Oversight Manager to drive the Risk & Control agenda across the UK Health business. This role involves managing risks associated with change and digital initiatives, and enhancing the capability to assess and manage such risks. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in risk management, strong stakeholder skills, and a deep understanding of relevant regulations. The position offers a salary of up to £50,000, along with benefits such as performance bonuses and health coverage.
Do you have expertise in creating risk-based, pragmatic standards, policies and frameworks, particularly with regards to First Line Risk? We're looking for a Risk Oversight Manager to be responsible for driving the Risk & Control agenda across the UK Health business, with a particular focus on managing risks associated with change and (digital) transformation initiatives. You'll play a critical role in fostering a resilient risk culture within AXA UK Health, enhancing the business's capability to identify, assess, and manage risks related to transformation projects, digital initiatives, and operational change.
You’ll focus on proactive risk management, embedding effective controls within change programs, ensuring that risk management practices support strategic transformation, operational resilience, and positive customer outcomes. You’ll work to strengthen the risk and control framework, supporting the business in day-to-day risk oversight, and ensuring that transformation activities align with regulatory requirements, business objectives, and financial plans.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You’ll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.
