Mace is seeking an experienced risk and cost management professional to join our consult team in Warrington. Based at the client’s office three days a week, you will lead risk oversight for a major capital programme and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver value and ensure safety and compliance.
You will apply your knowledge of risk reporting, cost control, and project methodologies, while representing Mace professionally and mentoring less experienced colleagues.

Please Note: This role is required to be based from our clients office in Warrington, Cheshire 3 days per week.
Our client is one of the largest water companies in the UK, responsible for water and wastewater services in England. Their purpose is to deliver their services in an environmentally sustainable, economically beneficial, and socially responsible manner and create sustainable long‑term value for all. We currently provide the client with a range of services focussed on programme and project management and are always looking for opportunities to deliver more value through the provision of expert and strategic staff. To plan and lead the successful delivery of a programme of works being delivered by an ‘Area delivery team’ made up of the client’s partners and contractors in accordance with their corporate values and following requirements: health and safety strategy – personnel safety, process safety and health and wellbeing, target operating model – system thinking, situational awareness and production line thinking and outcomes – regulatory, customer and resilience. To be the interface between the area delivery team and the business at a senior level and will be required to manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of the capital programme in line with their business strategy.
