Our Risk and Compliance function has a critical role to play in supporting, challenging and advising across all areas of the business through establishing policy, monitoring profiles, and identifying and managing forward‑looking risk and compliance. We focus on creating an environment that encourages our people to speak up and do the right thing, as well as protecting our customers, the organisation and the integrity of the financial markets in which we operate. Already an industry‑leader in many respects, we want to continue setting standards and evolving to respond to strategic changes.

The Market Change Lead will be part of Risk and Compliance Transformation (RCT) which manages the Change the Bank investment portfolio and associated transformation activity on behalf of and across the Risk and Compliance function globally. The Risk and Compliance Market Change Lead will be responsible for the oversight and deployment of R&C CTB outcomes for CIB & HCIB. Working closely with the CRCO CIB & HCIB and Head of Performance & Delivery CIB & HCIB, the role holder will both provide the interface between CIB & HCIB and the globally‑led R&C Value Streams (incl. demand management, OKR definition and interlock) and support the Value Streams to effectively deploy the change into the market (incl. rollout planning, execution and training). In addition to the oversight and deployment responsibilities, the role holder will oversee the R&C delivery of large‑scale, timebound, market‑led Sponsored Change Initiatives (SCIs) and business change activity alongside our delivery partners.

This role will be working across CIB & HCIB, Global R&C Value Streams and with delivery partners across the organisation to ensure alignment with the wider change portfolio and the Group Strategy, Values and Behaviours.

A move across the business allows you to continue to access tailored professional development opportunities, and our fantastic benefits packages.

In this role you will:
  • Act as the Market change Lead that can oversee and connect with the value streams and other stakeholder
  • Influence and collaborate with stakeholders and delivery partners across various value streams to ensure consensus and influence change outcomes.
  • Oversee the tracking of strategic programme risks, issues and dependencies, assess the impact on the benefit realisation for the programme and take action to minimise impact
  • Define the shape and structure in developing the programme plan; review and refine resource requirements and engage with stakeholders to create buy‑in for the plan.
  • Actively manage and co‑ordinate the programme roadmap, handling changes as they arise and keeping stakeholders focused on the agreed change outcome and benefits.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
  • Gravitas and ability to liaise, influence and attain buy‑in from senior stakeholders.
  • Proven experience demonstrating collaboration across multiple different value streams.
  • Thorough understanding of change frameworks with proven experience delivering large scale change programmes.
  • Experience translating regulatory and business context into the value stream.
  • Risk and Compliance experience

The role is based in UK on a hybrid working basis.
