Danos Group, London-based, seeks a Risk & Compliance Manager to support the Head of Compliance and MLRO across compliance oversight, AML controls, and the UK operational risk framework. The role offers exposure to multiple investment strategies within an established international investor base.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in Law/Finance/Economics, with 5+ years in risk or compliance, and knowledge of UK and Luxembourg frameworks.

Formación

• Degree in Law, Finance, Economics or related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in a risk or compliance role within asset management/investment management.
• Practical knowledge of UK and Luxembourg regulatory frameworks, particularly for alternative investment funds.
• Experience across alternative investment strategies, including private equity, real estate and/or hedge funds.
• Strong understanding of AML, financial crime controls, compliance monitoring and operational risk management frameworks.
• Fluent written and spoken English; highly organized, proactive and detail-oriented.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct AML assessments and due diligence on investment opportunities, including screening and risk analysis.
• Support development and implementation of the compliance monitoring framework, policies and annual monitoring plan.
• Provide independent second-line oversight across investment, operational, finance and client servicing activities.
• Maintain and enhance the operational risk framework, including RCSAs, risk registers and KRIs.
• Oversee operational incidents, losses and remediation activities, including root cause analysis and action tracking.
• Advise management on regulatory matters, deliver compliance reporting and training, and support governance and regulatory engagement.
