Description

We have a new opportunity for a Risk Business Partner to join us.

Reporting into the Head of Risk Partnership, you’ll support the completion of operations risk and control monitoring across our security and operational resilience functions ensuring that business activities are conducted in accordance with the Enterprise Risk Management Framework. You’ll identify, assess and monitor potential risk exposures and support our security and operational resilience teams in minimising operational risk events and losses through the maintenance of an appropriate control environment.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Providing advice and challenge to security and operational resilience teams on risk mitigation, control coverage and effectiveness
  • Completing operational risk monitoring and reporting to a high standard and in compliance with internal guidance and procedures
  • Supporting the security and operational resilience teams with risk remediation action plan definition and oversight
  • Risk incident reporting and thematic analysis and oversight
  • Supporting the Head of Risk in the delivery and continued development of the risk profile
  • Developing strong working relationships with risk champions, raising awareness for potential operational risk issues

What you’ll bring:
  • Demonstrable experience working in a risk function
  • Thorough knowledge of overall risks faced by financial services with a particular emphasis on security and operational resilience
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Pragmatic outlook with the ability to work at pace with strong delivery focus
  • Excellent report writing, organisation, analytical and influencing skills
  • General knowledge of industry frameworks, e.g. NIST, ISO270001, is desirable
