A healthcare organization in Dudley is seeking a Postholder to manage and lead various projects aimed at improving patient safety and learning from incidents. The successful candidate will engage with patients and staff, coordinate compliance with regulatory frameworks, and ensure the effective implementation of project objectives. Applicants should possess strong project management and communication skills, suitable for a dynamic healthcare environment.
The postholder is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF) and associated governance agenda. In particular, they will be responsible for leading the engagement elements of the Trustwide PSIRF along with associated key initiatives identified through the Trust governance framework. These initiatives will require a high level of planning, negotiating, analytical and sensitive communication skills.
The post holder will take full responsibility for a number of projects and routine workstreams. The projects will cover a wide range of topics, all related to the improvement of patient safety and learning from incidents.
For specific projects, the post holder will be responsible for analysing situations, devising project action plans, setting up and leading on the project, guiding and monitoring staff to implement project objectives and auditing project outcomes. In addition, s/he will develop systems and avenues of feedback of project progress and problems and produce revised actions plans to meet the agreed objectives.
The post holder will support, promote and evaluate the Trusts learning culture across the organisation.
