This role will suit someone who takes a pragmatic, process-focused approach and can translate complex information into clear guidance.

  • Support compliance with relevant statutory, legislative and regulatory requirements, including GFSC, FCA and Solvency II requirements, helping colleagues and outsourced service providers understand their obligations.
  • Maintain effective Conduct and Customer Outcomes arrangements, helping the business identify and reduce the risk of poor customer outcomes.
  • Oversee key third‑party and outsourcing arrangements, compliance risks, registers and control activity to support an effective Risk & Compliance function and strong lines of defence.
  • Coordinate compliance and audit actions, regulatory submissions and reporting for governance forums, helping ensure actions and deadlines are managed through to completion.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical or regulatory information into accessible guidance.
  • Strong planning, organisation and attention to detail, with experience developing or implementing policies, processes or procedures and managing priorities to deadlines.
