What we are looking for in you

YMCA Dulverton Group are looking for someone who possesses a nurturing personality, a strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for Early Years Education. This position is for a Rising Pre‑School Room Lead working with children from the age of 2 and a half.

Each of our nurseries and preschools are designed to meet the needs of each child. We have a play‑based curriculum which focuses upon being outdoors, giving children limitless possibilities to explore and learn whilst having fun.

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with your team members, and those you line manage, to curate engaging activities that inspire creativity in the children under your care. You will have the flexibility to adapt your approach to suit the needs of each child, possess compassion and empathy, and demonstrate commitment to the safety and well‑being of children. Candidates should hold a minimum of Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education as well as proven experience at an appropriate childcare setting. If you embody these qualities, and are ready to embark on a journey of learning and enrichment, we welcome your application.
