Job description

Join us as Rising Generations Coordinator

Part-time · 20–24 hours per week · Leatherhead, Surrey

LPC is a growing church in the heart of Surrey, part of the HTB Network. Since the revitalisation began in 2022, we've grown to 350+ people across three Sunday services, with 60+ children in groups across our two morning services (with 130 registered), and a youth ministry.

At LPC Kids we partner with parents to raise disciples of Jesus. We build a gospel-centred foundation in children's lives, teaching from God's Word so they grow confident in the character of God and learn what it means to love God, love others and make disciples.

The Rising Generations Coordinator is central to that. Working closely with the Head of Kids, you'll bring practical leadership, administration and coordination that keeps our Sunday and midweek ministries excellent, welcoming, well‑organised, fun and Jesus‑centred.

Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery and growth of LPC's ministry to children and families.
  • Work alongside the Head of Kids on practical leadership, admin and coordination.
  • Help run our Sunday Kids church programme – preparing resources, setting up, and supporting volunteers as they get ready for Sundays.
  • Regularly lead engaging Sunday sessions for children aged 0–10.
  • Equip and encourage our volunteers, support events, and keep our safeguarding processes strong.
  • Help children take real steps in following Jesus – contributing to LPC's vision: Love God. Love People. Make Disciples.
  • Aligned with the vision and values of LPC, with agreement to LPC’s leadership agreement.

Leatherhead Parish Church (LPC) is in a season of exciting growth following a revitalisation in partnership with HTB in September 2022. We are an Anglican church with a vision to love God, love people, and make disciples of Jesus.

Since revitalisation, LPC has grown to three Sunday morning services with 350+ attending weekly, over 160 in groups and with 135 guests on Alpha in 2025. Our Kids ministry is thriving with near 100 registered and around 50 each Sunday across two services in six groups, and a younger youth group at 11.30 service and a youth gathering currently on Sunday evening. We are passionate about raising a new generation of disciples, equipping families to follow Jesus, and planting new churches. We are Jesus centred, bible based and led by the holy spirit.
