Job summary

Accenture UK & Ireland is seeking a senior Google Cloud Architect to lead end-to-end transformation engagements for enterprise clients. You will shape architecture, delivery models and value cases, and work with sales and field teams to design differentiated, commercially compelling Gemini Enterprise-based solutions.

You will drive CX, AI governance and data platform initiatives, leveraging Vertex AI and BigQuery, while guiding multi-disciplinary teams through migration and modernization

Qualifications

• Proven track record in architecting, solutioning and selling Google Cloud-centric transformations for enterprise clients.
• Deep Google Cloud skills across landing zones, networking, IAM, GKE, Cloud Run, BigQuery and data engineering.
• Hands-on understanding of Gemini Enterprise, Vertex AI, agentic AI and governance patterns.
• Experience with CX transformations including conversational AI and contact-centre modernisation.

Responsibilities

• Own Google Cloud solution strategy across large deals, ensuring alignment of architecture, delivery model and value case.
• Create target architectures for cloud migration, modernisation and data/AI workloads.
• Define agentic AI architectures using Gemini Enterprise patterns and governance.
• Assess current-state platforms and map practical migration paths to Google Cloud.
• Design propositions for customer service, digital channels, and knowledge operations.
• Develop estimates for migration, platform engineering and GECX implementation.
• Lead multi-disciplinary solution teams including architects, security, delivery and transition SMEs.
• Act as a senior Google Cloud evangelist with CIO/CTO/CXO leadership to communicate value.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solutioning for complex Google Cloud transformation opportunities, from early client shaping through RFP/RFI response, architecture, commercials and mobilisation.
• Make Gemini Enterprise the front door for agentic transformation: enterprise search, employee productivity, no-code/low-code agents, governed custom agents and integration with enterprise workflows.
• Shape GECX-led customer experience solutions, including conversational AI, agent assist, CX insights, voice/digital integration, knowledge grounding and responsible AI controls.
• Design modern Google Cloud architectures spanning cloud foundations, Google Distributed Cloud, application modernisation, data platforms, Vertex AI, BigQuery, security and automated operations.
• Translate business outcomes into credible solution options, investment cases, architecture roadmaps, delivery estimates, transition plans and partner asks.
• Work closely with sales, account leadership, Google Cloud field teams, delivery, security, data and AI specialists to build differentiated, commercially compelling proposals.

Main Responsibilities

• Create target architectures for cloud migration, modernisation, data and AI workloads, including landing zones, network/security patterns, app and data migration waves, modernization factory design, and run models.
• Define agentic AI architectures using Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform patterns such as Agent Studio, Agent Development Kit, RAG, vector search, skill/agent registry, model choices, observability and governance.
• Assess current-state application, infrastructure, data, integration and CX platforms; identify the practical migration and modernisation path to Google Cloud.
• Design GECX propositions for customer service, contact centre, digital channels and knowledge operations, including integration with CCaaS/CRM/workforce tools where relevant.
• Develop estimates for migration, modernisation, platform engineering, data/AI build, GECX implementation and managed run.
• Lead multi-disciplinary solution teams including cloud architects, data architects, AI engineers, security, operations, delivery, commercial and transition SMEs.
• Act as a senior Google Cloud evangelist with client CIO/CTO/CDO/CX leadership, explaining the value of Gemini, GECX and Google Cloud in a practical, outcome-led way.

Here’s What You Need

• Strong record in architecting, solutioning and selling Google Cloud-centric transformation, migration, modernisation, data and AI solutions for enterprise clients.
• Deep Google Cloud architecture skills across landing zones, networking, IAM, GKE, Cloud Run, BigQuery, data engineering, DevSecOps and operational readiness.
• Hands-on understanding of Gemini Enterprise, Vertex AI, agentic AI, enterprise search/RAG, AI governance, evaluation, observability and responsible AI patterns.
• Practical exposure to customer experience transformation, conversational AI or contact-centre modernisation; GECX, Conversational Agents, Agent Assist or CX Insights exposure strongly preferred.
• Ability to build business cases, solution narratives, commercials and client-ready architecture materials for senior stakeholders.
• Strong consulting, communication and stakeholder-management skills; able to lead through ambiguity and mobilise teams quickly.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect and/or Professional Data Engineer certification; Gemini Enterprise / GECX learning or partner specialist credentials where available.
• Experience with regulated, sovereign, public sector, financial services or telecom environments.
• Experience shaping Google Distributed Cloud, security, data residency or AI guardrail patterns.
• Evidence of deal wins, reusable assets, proposal leadership or partnership work with Google Cloud field teams.
