A leading nutrition company in the UK is looking for a Rigorous Driver (Class 2) to operate a rigid lorry and deliver products with a focus on safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate will hold a Class 2 licence and be willing to pursue a Class 1 licence for future development. Rigorous Driver (Class 2) at Avonmouth Mill site. The main purpose of this role is to drive and operate a rigid lorry in accordance with Department of Transport regulations, EU drivers hours rules, other statutory regulations and company safety and health requirements. The driver will deliver bulk and bag products to customers efficiently, cost‑effectively and professionally. The role supports wider logistics operations and requires flexibility to meet business needs. The successful candidate will be willing to learn and develop, with a commitment to obtaining a Class 1 (HGV) licence to progress into a multiskilled driver role, enabling operation of a wider range of vehicles and contributing to the company’s operational versatility. The working pattern is an average of 48 hours, following a 5‑out‑of‑7 Sunday to Thursday bulk Monday‑to‑Friday bags shift pattern with flexible start times between 06:00 and 16:00 to meet operational demand.
