Job description
Bolton NHS Foundation Trust – Rheumatology Consultant

Bolton NHS Foundation Trust are looking for a Rheumatology Consultant, based on a 10 PA Job Plan.

This is an exciting opportunity to join and be an integral member of a friendly and supportive multi‑disciplinary specialist team working alongside other consultants, nurses, pharmacists and therapists to provide safe, effective and efficient care for patients. Part‑time applicants will be considered for these positions.

Responsibilities
  • Support the multi‑disciplinary Rheumatology outpatient base at Bolton One Health Centre and deliver four outpatient clinics each week, a mix of new and follow‑up activity.
  • Handle own clinical administration and provide formal clinical supervision of junior doctors and the MDT.
  • Provide specialist advice to other medical staff regarding inpatient care, GPs, A&E attendance, intermediate care or longer‑term disease management.
  • Develop a special interest that complements the existing special interests in the department; this is negotiable.
  • No out‑of‑hours on‑call commitment for Rheumatology with this post.
