Job summary

Qualifications

  • Excellent organisational and numeracy skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook for calendars and email.
  • Experience in NHS or similar professional workplace.
  • Experience using Excel, PowerPoint and Access databases.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and NHS computer systems.
  • Experience performing venepuncture and clinical measurements (BP/ECG).
  • Understanding of clinical research processes and governance.
  • Knowledge of invoicing and contracts in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

  • Support the research delivery team with recruitment to studies.
  • Lead on some observational research projects and data entry.
  • Assist with processing and collection of biological samples, venepuncture, vital signs and ECGs (training provided).
  • Help with filing, document maintenance, invoices and other administrative tasks.
  • Liaise with internal colleagues and external healthcare partners.
