Job summary

A leading healthcare institution is seeking a Clinical Research Fellow to join their rheumatology team. The role involves overseeing clinical care and patient safety, data management, and statistical analysis in various research studies. Candidates should possess an MBBS or equivalent medical degree, full GMC registration, and relevant experience in rheumatology. The position offers a salary of £73,992 per annum plus London allowance.

Qualifications

• Previous publications and presentation at conferences.
• Previous NHS experience.
• Previous rheumatology experience.
• Understanding of statistical methods for the interpretation of data.
• Previous clinical trial experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as sub-investigator and provide medical cover for clinical research studies.
• Advise on planned clinical research activity and recruit participants for trials.
• Maintain accurate records for regulatory authorities.
• Work with Clinical Studies Manager and Trials coordinator to deliver study targets.

Skills

Use of statistical programmes such as STATA and R

Knowledge of electronic data capture systems e.g. Medidata and MACRO

Education

MBBS or equivalent medical degree

Full GMC registration

Rheumatology Specialty Certificate Examination

MRCP

Good Clinical Practice Training
