Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join a residential and nursing care environment in Hampshire for a contract of approximately 3 months. The role requires delivering person-centered care, working within a multidisciplinary team, and maintaining high standards of clinical governance.

You will assess residents, manage medications, develop care plans, and support families while upholding dignity and independence for older adults.

Qualifications

• Qualified as Registered General Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration.
• Experience in residential, nursing, community, or adult care settings.
• Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills.
• Knowledge of medication management and risk assessment processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Experience with older adults and dementia care.
• Experience supervising care staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with individual care plans.
• Assess, monitor, and evaluate residents' physical and emotional wellbeing.
• Administer and manage medication safely and accurately.
• Develop, review, and update care plans and risk assessments.
• Monitor changes in residents' conditions and elevate concerns appropriately.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and nursing documentation.
• Support residents with health, wellbeing, and daily living needs.
• Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Promote dignity, independence, and person-centered care.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, infection control, and clinical governance requirements.
• Support care staff and contribute to the delivery of high standards of care.
