Job summary

Stonehaven Healthcare Ltd in Exeter's Woodhayes home is seeking a Registered General Nurse to provide high-quality resident care, assist with dressing, bathing, toileting, and support daily activities. You will maintain nursing records and supervise staff to ensure hygiene and safety.

You will participate in training, meetings and efforts to achieve high occupancy. Right to work in the UK is required; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Experience in care home or hospital desirable but not essential.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills, able to work under pressure.
• Good communication with residents and colleagues with a compassionate approach.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform cleaning tasks.
• Positive, flexible attitude and willingness to adapt to changing needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dressing, bathing and toileting.
• Report training needs and assist with staff induction and training.
• Maintain nursing records and documentation for procedures.
• Encourage daily activities and monitor care plans.
• Supervise staff to ensure hygiene and tidiness in the home.
• Attend staff meetings and promote high occupancy.
• Be the responsible person-in-charge on shifts when instructed.
• Answer emergencies, greet visitors and assist with care team meetings.
