Job summary

TÜV SÜD in the United Kingdom is seeking a Shift Technician to join our RF testing facility in Fareham. You will work within a team performing RF tests, calibrations, and data recording across a 24/7 shift pattern, with initial training on a Monday-Friday schedule before transitioning to shifts.

The role requires NVQ level 3 in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or hands-on engineering experience, and familiarity with RF test equipment such as spectrum analysers or oscilloscopes.

Qualifications

• Educated to NVQ level 3 in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or hands-on engineering experience.
• Experience with RF test equipment such as spectrum analysers or oscilloscopes.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Willing to work 24/7 shift pattern and well in a team.
• Able to access the site independently due to shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a team delivering RF test services on a 24/7 shift pattern.
• Control and monitor test equipment calibration status during testing.
• Work with customers during attended testing.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to meet timescales.
• Record results accurately following quality procedures.
